International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day  is celebrated on the 8th of March every year around the world. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights. International Women’s day was observed in our assembly by Class V C through a skit.

National Science Day 2020

: This day is celebrated every year on February 28 in the country to celebrate the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’. India’s great scientist CV Raman invented the ‘Raman Effect’ on this day and won Nobel Prize for the same.The great physicist Sir Chandrashekhar Venkat Raman made an important discovery in the serious subject of physics on February 28, 1928. Now, the Government of India felicitates scientists every year on this day who contributed to the field of science.

On February 28, National Science day was observed in our school assembly by class V.B.  The students were brought some medicinal plants, showed and explained its uses. And they have also done some experiments related to Physics and Chemistry……

WORLD CANCER DAY OBSERVED

World Cancer day

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. World Cancer Day is led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) to support the goals of the World Cancer Declaration, written in 2008. The primary goal of World Cancer Day is to significantly reduce illness and death caused by cancer  and is an opportunity to rally the international community to end the injustice of preventable suffering from cancer. World Cancer day was observed in our school assembly with a skit by class V A

National Girl Child Day

Indira Gandhi was elected as the Prime Minister of India on January 24. To commemorate this day, every year 24th January is observed as National Girl Child Day. The day was set apart for this by the Ministry of Woman and Child Development, India in 2008, with the purpose to spread awareness among the people about all the inequalities girls face in the Indian society.

The day was observed by Class VI C in the assembly through special talk and an inspiring skit.
